There are 3 products that stand out as being particularly suited to the education sector.

  • Seal Team & Master Seal Team - a program of up to 14 sessions that can be programmed into a school term or year by adjusting the session frequency.
  • Discover Scuba Diving - A single 45-minute session activity that in the past has been used as a unique activity during enrichment weeks.
  • PADI Open Water - The full PADI scuba diving qualification, being modular, this can be integrated into the curriculum in many ways and can either finish with the PADI Open Water qualification or finish with a once-in-a-lifetime school trip.
  • School Trip to the Red Sea - Catering for 18 students, 2 staff and 2 of our PADI Professionals, a Red Sea liveaboard is a perfect, secure and safe destination for a school trip.  Your students will get to experience the wonderful biodiversity of one of the best diving locations in the world while using the Scuba Diving qualification they have just gained.

All activities are flexible and can be tailored to fit into your school year in a way that fits your school’s requirements.  All courses are certificated and supported by our team of PADI Professionals, who will also be available for parents’ evenings and presentation assemblies.

PADI Seal Team

The PADI Seal Team is a regular swimming pool-based diving club designed to introduce Scuba Diving to children aged between 8 and 12 years old.  The course typically consists of 8 to 12 sessions that can either be built into a single term or spread out over an entire school year.

What to expect.

All the sessions last approximately 45 minutes and include an element of education, followed by a fun game or activity.

During the initial 4 sessions, our team work on the basic diving skills required to be a confident and safe scuba diver. Following session 4, the students graduate from the Seal Team to the Master Seal Team, where the format changes, and each session becomes focused on a single topic, with exciting speciality subjects such as Rescue, Search & Recovery, Underwater Photography and Safety.

Discover Scuba Diving

The Discover Scuba Diving experience is a single or double session ideal as an enrichment experience or pre-selection session for the PADI Open Water course.  The initial session involves a short online presentation with a practical session held in a swimming pool, where we introduce students to the equipment they will be using before discovering the wonders of the underwater world by learning 3 key skills and underwater activities.

The online theory lasts around 20 minutes and is normally undertaken as a home study session, and is followed by the instructor-led swimming pool session takes around 45 minutes per group.

PADI Open Water

This is the core PADI course and the go-to qualification for scuba divers worldwide.

Being modular, it is perfectly suited to the educational environment, giving total flexibility in how you choose to make it work within your school.

Theroy - This can either be self-study outside of the normal school day, or can be as instructor-led classroom sessions.  There are 6 sections and a final exam and PADI suggest that this should take around 8 hrs in total.

Swimming Pool Sessions - This section of the course is where we teach the students the skills they will require to become safe confident divers.  It consists of five sessions lasting around an hour (based on a group size of 6, increasing the group size to 10 will require 1.5 hours).

Qualifying Dives - To complete the qualification the student will undertake 4 dives in a lake where they simply demonstrate the skills they have already mastered during the pool sessions.

The perfect reward for successfully completing the course would be a school trip to the Red Sea on a liveaboard boat where your students can experience some of the best diving in the world.
